Need a new steering wheel

I currently have a Grant that the PO installed.
Besides being old and coming apart, the Grant adapter pushes it really close to me.
I have tilt, and that helps, but I also have the Corbeau RS seats that sit a bit higher.
So, is it possible to get a Grant or aftermarket steering wheel that doesn't use such a deep spacer?
I've thought of just going back to an OEM wheel, but most are pretty trashed that I've seen on Ebay.

In this area, there are zero wranglers in wrecking yards.

how is the local yard fixed for Cherokee's?

the wheels should be pretty much interchangeable, and being in an enclosed vehicle they may be in better shape

And early Cherokees used the same steering column as the YJs...thus the steering wheels are interchangeable.
