so all it has is the msd box a coil and the distributer. it has a weber carb.(32/36)?
the msd is hooked up as per the in structions i see from the post nutter bypass that the wires on the dist ar orange, purple and black. so just match the colors? the ting is it runs like s*** and we cant figure out why. im assuming that the entire stock electronic ignition has been gutted. i know nothing about jeeps. do you need more info? |

Yes, if you have a weber carb and the msd box, it sounds like the stock ignition has been bypassed. Is it a stock dist???

yes it has been replaced. the original one was wandering around at an idle. but now i think that was because it was hooked to intake vacume.
the weber has not been rebiult but ive done the tuning procedure it idles and revs at no load. when you put a load to it it will not rev up and c**** all over itself. weve done compresion, wires cap rotor, every thing else we can think of. but it wont run. |

There's an MSD connector that will plug in there, then there's an orange and purple wire coming off that connector. The orange one then goes to the purple wire on the MSD and the purple one goes to the green wire on the MSD. I was going to take a pic, but apparently my camera is MIA.
Additionally, I have that connector sitting in the garage if you can't find one local. I no longer run the MSD, also got the same connector for a HEI (if you may upgrade).
