It was very staight-forward since I have the FSM and I could map the correct wires. I created my own harness and plugs, so I can remove the whole gauge pod in a manner similar to stock. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures during the process. Here are some post install pics.
fyi, summitracing has the cheapest prices on the phantom gauges that i've been able to find.... even comparing to eBay summit is cheaper after factoring in shipping... and they're in stock....

Better to ask and find out the answer then to assume and be wrong.
Each gauge comes with its own light and two different light covers: one green and one red. I put the red covers on and I am pleased with the outcome. I had two bulbs burned out in the tach and speedo, so I put red bulbs in them too. It all turned out pretty nice.
I also swapped all my gauges, including speedo and tach with Autometer Ultra-Lites. Built my own custom polished aluminum dash that follows the stock contour. Got rid of the 4WD indicator and run speedo and tach in the stock locations and fuel, oil pressure, water temp. and battery volt. across the middle. Also on there are indicator lights for turn signals, parking brakes, and highbeams. PM me your email and ill send you some pics if you want.
