Both rides look good. Hope you got a good deal!
Keep us posted on the emissions testing results
Yes I was & still am a Big FAN of MacGyver. It has also been my nickname for many years. My friends & wife have always said I look allot like him & I figure things out like him.
As for deal definitely got a good deal on both but how good depends on what all I have to spend on them I guess.
I have NO experience with Jeeps but been reading allot here & other places.
The Black one is actually for my son & seems pretty solid including no visible rust. Also definitely has some sort of lift just don't know what.
1. Could use new seats
2. Parking Brake Iffy.
3. Pace Header dueled out but no Cat & one muffler is damaged
4. Tailgate damaged
5. Heater Core damaged or may just be disconnected.
6. Wheels need spacers or upgraded for size tires.
7. Needs Radio
8. Rear Differential is leaking.
9. Steering Column Transmission Indicator not working
10. Hard Top Rear Glass doesn't open
11. Fan Shroud Damaged
12. No Rear Bumper to speak of
That is the list so far but the engine sounds strong although the Weber Carb really seems to need adjusting since it smells Rich.

I know I will have to fix Exhaust & Replace Cat. Not 100% sure if Carb wont pass but already planned on TBI if needed. I have a few months to work on it before my son can drive on his on.
