yeah. I want to get the 4.0 out of the garage (either in the jeep or sold) before I start thinking about 44's or 8.8s.

I might. I told you what I was thinking about keeping the 4.2 right? Maybe just buy a Weber or Holley. I think I am gonna put it in though. Might as well. haha.

well i decided i will not have the funds for an 8.8 because all the little stuff that has came up really adds up
. Mabye make a stubby front bumber because both are bent. Maybe some homemade speaker boxes if my dads gives me some 6X9s. Waiting for my dad to show me how to use the body hammers and have him bring the portapower to push the fenderwell back out. Got some metal for the rockers. thats about it![]()

Sounds good. We have a set of body hammers too. Pretty easy to figure out. If it's big I am pretty sure the idea is to start on the out side of the dent and work in. That's just what I heard. I just pulled the speakers out of my dash and will either recover or replace them. Hopefully replace as they were looking pretty rough. I would like to build some under the seats or possibly some like the VDP boxes that go on the roll cage just in front of the tire well. That is kind of a wasted space and they look great. Even have a little cupholder in them. haha.
I would love to make some sliders out of angle iron. I'm thinking 6x6 or so.

Well I was really bored and wanted to make a bumber on the FREE side so here it is. I just used my stock bumper and cut it down. I took measurements for all of us broke people that cant afford a new bumper. This is the alternative
Things needed: .... Tape (makes this really easy to do) .... Stock bumper (I left it on, no need to take it off and its easier if its on) .... Sawzall .... Tape measure and I think thats it ![]() Here is where I started its a 1/2 inch from the side of the hole, not the center(I think it is the mount for factory fogs or something else). I just based the bumper build off the two holes on each side of the bumper. Once I had the 1/2inch mark made i cut straight down.(its a little off because its hard to hold a tape measurer and take a picture , but when i measured it its a 1/2inch)![]() ![]() Then I measured down 1 and 3 quarters inch down marked it. ![]() Then measured from the end of the bumper 4 and a 1/2 inch over and marked. I ran the tape from the two markings and started cutting ![]() ![]() Was going to make a thread about this but not. Its just that simple. Im going to enclose the sides. Any qeutions ![]()

Sweet. i think I will be checking out that bumper cutting mod soon. I'll probably save some of the scraps and when we finally get a welder i'll think about welding them back on just at a 90 degree angle to where they were originally. Like if I had left them and but scored the back side or something like that and bent them back in. I think it would help clean it up a little. I don't know though. Looks good whichever way.

yeah ill be cleaning the bumper up some
. Well today i took apart the integra seats and getting the dam sliders off those are a pain in the ***, i think i just might run two peices of flat steel across and mount them on the stock sliders. i took out the body mount bolts and all of them are bent from it being in the roll, this becomeing the not so great deal . And some of the body mounts are broke so what do i do now get poly like bushing or go with a factory type.![]()

Hey. You got measurements from like the ends of the bumper? Cause I am pretty sure I don't have those holes. Thanks man. I might just wing it and make something up anyway. How much did you cut off when you came straight down?

I would say you will need an sye for the 8.8 plus the 2.5" lift. Not to say that it is impossible but i have not yet heard of anyone else doing it yet.
The bumper looks good too!
