Hey man. How are things going on your build up? I hadn't checked in a while and was just wonderin. Keep up the good work. I'm still stalled out trying to mess with the Carter so I can play around with the jeep while I wait for a good time to do the swap.

so no help there and my dads got a HOLLEY carb. well the lift just arrived yeah

. ill get some pics this weekend. Well im probably gunna call on this 2000 explorer 8.8 4:10s with 45,000 miles for $100. If it has everything including the brakes, because the mustang 8.8 doesnt have the right gear ratio 2:73

and brakes so maybe $100s is the ticket. Im going to buy some Herculiner because its on sale for $40

.Then probably making some tubefenders in the front not sure what to do in the rear. Now should i make tube flares for the rear or tj flares. opinions. Theni have to hammer the tub out because its a lot more bent up then i imagined, think the frames tweaked a little

but not sure because the jack stand are sitting on a slant and two different slabs of concrete

. Still deciding on a color so HELP ME CHOOSE A COLOR plz but the rare inica gold on the 03 wranglers is cool and never seen that on a yj. thanks

I wanna see some of those squared off old rescue type land rover fender wells. the ones that look like the top half of a pentagon. congrats on the 8.8. I got mine goin today so now i can start thinkin about fun stuff like that again. haha.
Herc is fun, just wear some clothes you don't mind getting it on permanently. and try to pick up some nitrile or latex gloves. ask your school nurse of biology teacher. sand it down till there is no shiny stuff left and wipe it down with acetone or xylol. it will take a few coats to really see it start to show but be patient. You can also mask off the proper area and make a decent entry guard out of it. Just thowin it out there.
I was just talking to another guy today about putting herc on fender flares? what do you guys think of that?
just a little something to consider.
have you ever thought of flat black? i personally like my super custom dark forest green. did i tell you guys that story yet?

.not sure about flat black, i have stainless steal parts so its gotta look half ways decent. i heard mud sticks to herc really bad

well i called on the 8.8 and they sold it in 2003 so much for carpart.com but its a great site just a mistake, i found a couple around town from carpart.com for around 150 with 4:10s is that a good deal. because the place that its at is really good at screwing people over, but thats the only place

herc for $40 and rc 2.5 lift

i took the torx out and the rool bar moved over about half to three quarters inch from when it rolled. and where the tub and fender well met theres a gap. thanks to the roll bar i know that the fender well has to move over that much

word can not describe how much i hate torx

here is the corner i just puched it out a little then came out a lot yes

now i get to test out our brand new stud gun

heres the 8.8 i got for free im thinking about putting under. if i can find gears cheap then i will put it on. otherwise find an 8.8 4:10 or just put the d35 back on

Hey nate, did you get that sending unit replaced yet? I don't know if you saw my redneck gas tank rig but I believe the root problem was caused by the filter on the pick up end of the sending unit. If you could slap up a picture of the filter I just wanna compare how fine the mesh is on it. Mine was almost so thick that I couldn't see light through it. It's like two layers on each side though. I remembered you saying you were gonna replace it or something.

yeah that gas tank was pretty funny, but i got the dealership to replace it under recall for free

. Sorry but i dont have the old one or the black jeep i bought didnt even have a gas tank so i can help you on that one. good luck

yes sir..........i know someone i work with that knows the guy at the junkyards so ill see if i can get a better deal on the 8.8 $150 but im just tight on money.haha
