mysterious hose

Hello Everyone, I'm new to Jeeping and I have to say its been a fun new hobby.

My question is, in the engine bay there's a hose that goes from the top exhaust manifold to the cab. it has a one way valve on it and I cant figure out where in the behind the dash it does to. I posted a picture of it below, its the part in red, my hand is holding the hose that comes out of it. I looked every where under the dash and cant see anything that may have been connected to it.

your help would e greatly appreciated

repost from another
It's the vacum line to the heater door motor.
There should also be a check valve in there somewhere.
