Loving the 8.8 swap. I know you are so excited to get it in. I remember working on mine like you are now and I could not wait to get it bolted in. Keep posting up the pics. You are going to feel bullet proof when you get that 8.8 in there!

See I should have waited for my dad he already told me I should have scored it meaning cut sideways. This weekend were going to cut the old shock mounts off and replace my front pipe.

Those are the sway bar mounts...

Try to cut sideways rather than down so that you dont damage the axle tube. I cut a line right across the middle of those mounts, they were easier to remove in 2 pieces instead of 1.

I found a good way to do it. Cut the top chunk out, then cut above the welds.

I took off the soft top for the spring/summer and put on the bikink top. It started snowing this morning so I went and got a windjammer. I still need in screw down 1 more channel on the drivers side. I'll be getting a deck dust cover in 2 weeks when I get paid again.
Still a little gap but it's better then with no windjammer at all

Finished the install of all the z brackets for the windjammer, some of them were a pretty tight squeeze but I got it. Just need the duster to finish it off. Doing some camping and wheeling on the 23 so check back for lots of pics.

It works great, just want the duster to finish it off. I was worried it wouldn't fit with my g.e.a.r seat covers but it wasn't a problem.

Just tested it out driving 65 on the highway. It didn't flap at all and kept a lot of wind out, overall good buy.

Finally got the extended SS brake lines on. I almost forgot about them.
Old lines
We ran into a problem on the rear, the hard line had to be cut and re-flared, and a new nut put on because this one got chewed up by the wrench and vice grips.
