funny, worked for me. really funny thing is that it is a white jeep! lol. looks sweet XJ. those tires 12.5 or are you running less backspacing? looks like they're sticking out a good couple inches.

i bought the engine for 1500 as a crate engine. it didnt include any accesories covers intake or carb. i am not sure the total cost. The engine mount was like 150 and headers like 300. It was alot of work cause i wnated to do it right. its got 4.10 gears and just climbs everything with all this power

Where did you get the crate engine from?
I'm looking for an engine for my Buildup in the summer and was just wondering.

I'm up in Canada so I'm hoping to find something locally.
Even just get a 350 and rebuild it myself.
Think it might be fun.

What trans did you use?

Could you go into a bit more detail on the exhaust?

This might sound like a dumb question, but overall, how hard was doing the motor swap?

The engine was bought from a local place that replaces engines its called connely. It is a goodwrench engine i think it has about 300 hp. eventually ill get a cam in it. we used a chevy turbo 350 trans. It was beefed up with different shift points. It actually chirps the tires shifting 1st to 2nd. The headers are fenderwells from AA and from that we welded the flowmasters on each side and they are hung from the body with hangers. they dump out just before the rear tires. The side bars protect from the heat when getting in and out
