My Peugot finally died.

164,232 miles later, Frenchie bit the big one.

So, what now?

AX15
NV3550
NV4500

I'll be rebuilding my 258 w/a 4.0 Head, Borla and Weber. That's the plan anyway.
You all know how we fly by the seat of our pants when it comes to these decisions.

1988 YJ 4.2L 258 which I bought in 1998.

Any suggestions or links would be greatly appreciated.

AX-15 seems to be easiest/chepest to source. My understanding is that it is a bolt up affair excluding the need to swap the t-case input gear (diff spline count btw AX-15 and BA/10). And then you'll have an external slave too, probably a good thing.

Still holding on with my frenchie, up to 280k last week. God only knows how much the old girl still has in her.
