attempted "nutter" bypass had me confuzed

i went along with the nutter bypass with the instructions from http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/ele...jn-ignition99/ i followed the instructions to a tee, and when i went to start it, it was getting no spark. not even a sign of any spark, the i realized that my coil was not grounded. so i then grounded it and when i went to start it the positive wire of the coil (ignition wire) burnt up. so i put everything back together and it started again. sooo i want to beable to go along with this bypass because my jeep runs like a 2cyl bolens tracktor. any help would be awesome, thanx, shane

Also, you may want to reference this: http://home.sprynet.com/~dale02/ignmods.htm#diagram

It is a bit more clear (to me) than the 4x4wire.com writeup.

Toooooooooo Funny

At least two-thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity: idealism, dogmatism and proselytizing zeal on behalf of religous or political ideas.
