Well went and did some wheeling today and thought I would give an update...These will be kinda far between because work is slow and I am still waiting on some money for my engine but it will pic up at some point...

Here are some pictures from today.

Shot showing my halfway built rear bumper

The flex was pretty good. I was able to flex it more than ever before. I inverted my rear driver side leaf spring at one point and my front passenger leaf was completely flat almost inverted. The front leaf wasn't even close to the bump stop so I need to extend it like 3 inches and the rear I need to extend about an inch. I guess I won't dog on the procomp lift too much anymore its also riding a lot softer so I think it is officially broke in. The P.O said it was two years old when I bought the jeep but he also said the tires were too and they still had stubies on them so I really don't know

Work has been picking up a little so hopefully I will be able to buy my engine by the end of november if not then I will have to wait until January

so why out wheeling today my friend in his yota got stuck I pulled out next to him and was talking to him and then all of a sudden I realized my feet were wet so I looked down and my shoes were covered in water....So I took the carpet out and I am letting it dry but sometime this week I plan on taking out the seats center console the rear carpet and my box. I then am going to put some sort of liner in fix all the rust and plug the holes. Not sure what liner I am going to use yet still wondering

Looks like a great start. I like how the bumper came out, it's really beefy.

The white color helps hide the renegade trim real well, in fact I didn't recognize it until I took a closer look. Does it really not bother you to keep it on?

I really like it and have been planning on keeping it up until like the last week or so....I think instead of going SOA I am just going to build some tubes it will be a lot easier and cheaper for now and I can go SOA later down the road. I am probably going to design my tubes on the rear similar to Poison spider and not sure how I am going to do the front yet. I also will incorperate some sliders in there. I like that my jeep looks different but the more I am wheeling the more they are becoming a hassle they hold up great they just are a pain when picking lines. Like yesterday at one point I had my passenger front fender pull in front of my bumper it was all tweaked I just bent it back and You can't even tell in the pictures

started my partial restore today...probably won't be able to drive the jeep again until Spring or summer. I started by removing everything and drilling any torx bolts that broke which = 2...lame torx bolts.

anyways on with the pictures

had to drill out the bottom hole for the seat belt took me about an hour

little drivers side rust I have to fix this is partially do to the flairs

hmmm P.O didn't mention this when he was telling me how great the jeep was

and a picture of me and the jeep after 6 hours together ahhh quality time

Tomorrow I will finishing removing the stuff inside and then I will start removing my fender flairs....Can someone say bye bye renegade..I will start building my tubes somepoint after getting the engine soo it is going to be a ways off but this will be a start and this will force me to make them

More pictures to come tomorrow night guys
