You gotta love coming home and seeing this

This thing looks a lot better than the stock one

Now what sucks is i get to walk buy it everyday this week until Saturday, maybe Sunday. I have school and work this week and then i am going to the beach to see my g/f. I am coming back Saturday so maybe i will do it then, It seems pretty simple to put in.

Alright, got around to installing the skid plate, pretty simple install

1. Supported the axle with jack stands and the skid with a jack(my dad's fathers day gift) and a peice of wood
2. Then took the bolts off and lowered it enough to unhook the vaper lines, electrical connection, and hoses.
3. Then lowered and swaped the old skid for the new one, all you need from the stock one is support straps.
4. Then put it back up, connect everything and bolt it up.

Pretty simple only took about an hour and did most of it by myself.

Amazing rig there man! Im just starting the tear down of mine. I have a 94 YJ. Love the Hercliner liner on the tub. Im going to have to do that one. Im hoping mine resembles yours when all done. Im going for all black though.

Really killer looking rig!

Well guess what got delivered to my door today, a six piece set of tj flairs

Now, these won't go on till sometime in the summer and i have to figure out what i am going to do with the side steps. I was thinking about leaving then and cutting the lip where they meet. OR i guess i could get some rocker guards. I will have to wait and see where the money situation is.

These don't completely cover my tires and i actually thought they were too wide at first. I think it will be different when i get then on. it was kinda funny when my dad came out, he picked one up and said to me and the guy, "are these gonna fit", and i said "yeah with some trimming they will fit fine". The guy thought i was just gonna bolt them on.

haha, yeah right. are you going to make them cover the tire some how? or is that legal there? In PA the cops will pull ya for that. Also are you going to paint them black or leave them that color? sorry for all the questions just wondering.

No, cops don't bother you for tire coverage, probably won't have flares on my jeep at all for a week or so when i make the transition, and yeah i am going to paint them black.
