You could be right, seeing how I have tried adjusting with little help and I almost stripped two of the star bolts. I might try that today see if it works.

I think painting will begin next weekend since i have it off from work, they will be the same color as my hardtop and i might throw it up there and see what it looks like.

Does anyone know the size u-joints that the re driveshaft came with? If so i was just gonna pick some up tomorrow and it is to dark to climp under the jeep to measure.

Hopefully if everything goes well I will start preping the doors for paint.

Well got some time today and started on the full doors, only got to one with all of the stuff that happened today
I finally sold my old tires and bumbers and stuff to a really cool guy with, get this, a 93 YJ. He was cool, he kept asking about my jeep but anyway here are some pics of the doors with some paint on them.
Went from this

To this

So what do ya think for a back yard paint job, I am not done, still going to go over it a few more times but for the most part the one is done. Hopefully i will finish the other door this weekend and get a pic of them on the jeep, Maybe mock up the hardtop. I need to drill the holes in the windshield channel.

Your to kind, I got really lucky with the body and frame but almost everything else on it I have put on it. It is easy when you like to work on your rig. None of my friends understand why I am constanly looking for stuff or wrenching on my jeep. I appreciate your nice words and i am sure one day it will be just how you want it.

You have done a great job, but I disagree. Your Jeep is never perfect, and never finished. You reach goals, and it sounds like Barrio's goal is to have what you have... but I bet you have something else in mind.

Great work, I'm in the process of trying to sell my truck so I can pickup my next project.

gotta plug myself. Anyone in the northshore looking for an F150? http://westernmass.craigslist.org/car/622064311.html

man I am jealous, I have looked and looked for a decent deal on a set of doors and a top, but they always want an arm and a leg, how do you find those deals?

Jimaug, you are right, i still have big plans for the summer and for down the road but for now i am very pleased with the proggess i have made.

Sam, I checked craigslist about 3 times a day at least until I find good deals. Bought the top for 150 and the doors for 350, then probably about 100 over two months in supplies and gas to go get the items. So 600 for a top and doors that are painted to my likeing, just gotta look.
