oh yeah, when i took my flairs off to paint them, i was doorless, mirrorless, flairless with the tires i have now, pulled up next to a local cop, he looked, laughed, waved, and drove off. I am so glad tire coverage is not a big deal down here.

So for those who have done the tj flare mod, did you have to cut the tj flares at all. The ones i have are from an 03. Or did you just cut that much of the tub. The fronts even seem to hang down past the tub even if they are even with the top of the fender. Just maybe some pics of what you guys have done would be awesome. I have read through some other threads but have not seen if they have cut the flare. I am looking to put these on this weekend so i might just have to wing it.

You got yourself a real nice jeep there man. It's cool to know I'm not the only young guy on here with all the old men. Just kiddin guys.

I'm turning 18 in two weeks, and am in the middle of an SOA on my jeep.

But, back to your jeep. Yeah, that's one thing about the South I LOVE. Cops down here in GA don't mess with any of the big *ss trucks and jeeps down here for tire coverage. God Bless the South.

Keep up the good work man.

I would love to be soa, but i can't weld, which is really the only thing keeping me from an 8.8 swap. Saturday i am going to make the cuts and mount the flares and then sunday and monday i will paint them. I am thinking about putting the step back on where the mount is sticking out until i can afford some rockers. I will probably end up painting the mount sticking out black to match the flares.

I can't weld either, but I know people that can. It's not as much what you know, its who you know.

Here is the pile of metal and rubber that is no longer on the jeep.

Dude this two-tone color combo looks awesome. I love the look of the hardtop/harddoors in black. It really changes the look of the Jeep. Awesome deal on them too. How do you think black hard doors/hard top would look with my blue?

I'm looking forward to seeing the TJ flares. Your Jeep is really coming along. No telling what it will look like in a few more years if you keep going! Looking Good.

BTW, if you will PM BESRK he will move this thread over to the Jeep Registry Buildup where some of the others are. I think you get better responses & feedback in the YJ forum, but if all the build-up threads were there it would be better.

Matt, everything was rattle can, hard top and doors. Thanks for compliments, i was almost sad that it was summer because they went right back under the deck, almost though. If you were closer to nc i would say come see how they look first hand but Georgia kinda far. I think it would look pretty good considering all of your accesories are black too. My friends dad lives somewhere in Georgia, maybe this summer we can come down there.

Sounds good. There are plenty of places to go ride down here. Let me know if you make it down.
