My jeep whistles!

Very weird problem, my jeep whistles at a high pitch after driving for a couple minutes. It never starts right away, you have to drive it for a bit. It also only whistles when i let off the gas or depress it to about 10%. To me it seems like a vacuum issue because once i step on the gas its gone. It will whistle at idle most times, but once i open the hood to find whats going on, it usually stops. The whistle sounds like its coming from the way back of the engine bay, but i can never figure out whats causing it. I also recently had a new manifold installed with the mopar metal gasket. Any ideas?

How is your cooling system?

I had the same problems where it was whistling but it ended up being a hole in the radiator, letting out air..especially when the engine was under load.

This reminds me of Jeff Dunham talking about Gay Man.

But sorry, no help on the actual problem.

check the manifold bolts. they do come loose and will cause the problem your having.i also have a weber on mine with the aftermarket air cleaner and when i'm driving down the road the carb does make a whistling noise.

all the manifold bolts are tight, the whistle is much louder in the back of the motor, so i cant see it being the radiator. I just got a wash, and i could not get it to whistle at all, so now i have no clue why water is stopping whatever is whining
