My Jeep Cranks And Cranks But No Start!!!

my jeep wrangler, in cold weather, takes about 8 to 10 minutes to start. i will sit there and crank and crank and crank and it just takes forever to start, however. when its about ready to start my light that tells me to shift up will turn on when turn the key, that is how i know its about to start. ive replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it still does it. anyone!!!! please help!!!

It is your ECU going bad. There is no use cranking until the light comes on. You need a new one or there is a couple threads on here on how to repair it yourself.

Engine Control Unit...under your windshield washer bottle on the firewall.

good luck tho...id did that and im still having problems...if you do this and it doesnt work, it might be a bigger problem then just the caps...

There are probably 10,000 threads titled almost this exact thing. Just do a quick search and see what you find. You will more than likely find what you need. If you already did that, then just disregard what I said!
