wow, havent been on here in a while. I havent really done much on the jeep since i started driving it. I did replace some parts(TPS, radiator, thermostat, tie rods) but im very impressed how reliable this thing is, i just get in and go and dont have to worry about anything. and the gas mileage is impressive, $20 gets me about 3 days, i was putting $20 in my car every day lol. its starting to get warmer so hopefully next month possibly, i might get some paint on this thing. I have to get to work on my tube fenders first though. I picked up a rust free windsheild frame a while ago for free . I just got another project plus my car with a blown rearend(still) so im gonna be busy in another week or so.

just a few pictures. getting ready for paint. got the fenders done and painted along with the hood. i sent a windsheild frame out to get sandblasted. it came back, i primed it its ready for paint. i built rear tube flares, pics will be up soon(forgot to take some). i blew the 95 rearend lol luckily i had the old '88 rear "stored" in the dumpster at work. i picked up a bumper today at a swap meet. its coming along slowily but it is getting there. after the rear flares are done there will be nothing stopping me from spraying the whole thing.

haha that mud is long gone, those pictures were from january. Thanks, the flares came out better than I expected. No one has a set of flares or tube fenders like these and I dont think I could build them the same if i tried. I wish i did everything a little differently because I could have saved a whole lot of hours hahaha.

Well I definitely like how the rears came out, I was planning something similar myself.

Should be some mud out there this weekend with all the rain we're getting

I finally painted it!!! two weedends ago i spent the whole weedend at work. thursday and friday i finished the rear flares and primed them. saturday i spent most of the day sanding and sanding and prepping and masking. i sprayed sealer at about 1am and basecoated it at about 2. i made it home by about 3:30 and took a nap lol. i layed out the flames at around 9am on sunday and was cleared around noon. at that point i went home and passed out lol it was a long long weekend. the flames are pretty neat, its dupont chromalusion so it flops in different light, green to silver with purple in there somewhere. im no painter lol but i think it came out pretty good. when i look back this jeep was only supposed to be a winter beater hahahaha. the new windsheild frame isnt done yet, i need the glass guy to come put the windsheild in but its my daily driver so i stuck the old one back on. anyway heres some pictures...
