Nice progress. Did you need to do anything special with the 1" BL?

I'm putting mine on tomorrow with Mean Max but as far as I know, all you need is to either put a 1" MML on or if you have a 6 cyl, take your fan shroud off, or relocate the 4 screw holes that the fan shroud screws into the radiator with.. (takes 10 minutes from what I've heard)...

Nope, Me and a buddy did it in about 2 hours. I did have to relocate the fan shroud down and cut a little off the corner where the bottom radiator hose is. That was one of the first Mods I did and I didn't take pics.

I didn't have anything going on tonight so I went ahead and got the Loaner tools (Slide Hammer & Puller) and pulled the Pilot bearing. It sure is easy with the right tools.

Well I'm done with the drivetrain until parts come in and tranny is rebuilt so I decided to replace the Window Cowl seal. I've had it for (2) months but never have done it because the PO left me with some wonderful stripped torks bolts with the cage meets the Windshield. So tonight is the night. I drilled them out and used easy-outs. I've read where other people on the Forum having problems with using them, but I use them a lot at work and seem the have pretty good luck with them. Three of the four were stripped out and I got them all out in about 15 minutes. No help tonight from the kids, but Maggie the 1 year old English Mastiff was eager to help out. I have had a very productive Jeep weekend.

Quick pic of the Dash, bracket, and old seal. After all the bolts where out it still was hung. 5 seconds later I see the Visor is in holding up progress. (4) tork screws later and the windshield is down and I got a surprise.

When The windshield was down I found (1) Crescent Wrench, (2) Ink Pens, (1) Business Card from a Bank in Branson MO, (1) McDonalds straw still in paper wrapping, (2) Bottle caps <Coke&Dr.Pepper>, and (1) dead Red Wasp. So don't lay your tools on the Dash they might get lost. Finders Keepers The new seal is on, but It is not as thick as the old one on the part that is on the outside of the window. I'll give it a few day to see if it lays down. If not I'll put the old one back on and talk to the guy I bought it from. If you don't have to easy-out your bolts the cowl seal change out could be done in about 30 minutes. A very easy project.

I'm going to suscribe to this because you are doing alot of the mods I want or need to do to my YJ and you have excellent pictorial references.
I also want to beg you to find something more solid than cinder blocks to support your vehicles on when you work under it.
Those blocks are accidents waiting to happen especially with how they are turned.( see the link below)
Other than that, Keep up the indepth pics for easy references

That new cowl seal does look too thin, I got one from Quadratech and had the opposite problem as it was real thick and it DID match the original in size. After a few months it forms darn good and absolutely no leaks. So maybe try quadratech because the replacement you have does look off.
