I had my muffler rust through a while back, too.
I just cut it, leaving the cat on, and ran that way for a while until I could get a muffler. It was loud, but I felt kinda cool.
A new stock muffler with install ran about 180 bucks.
If you can do it yourself, it'd be cheaper.

I just replaced my torn to pieces muffler with a stock replacement from Autozone for just $28.

It's so much nicer having a quiet Jeep again. I can hold a conversation and hear the music while driving topless now!

well 4wd.com has a dynomax exhaust for 175 with 75 rebate so i was thinking that but everyone i asked said install would be 100-180 and thats if all the bolts arent rusted out and they break which will be alot more lol you think i could do it myself?
