Mirror Question

I have a 93 with full steel doors and the small plastic cheap mirrors. I want to get the ones ive seen on all the tjs, but i just want to make sure they will bolt up to my hinges. Ive seen these type of mirrors on yjs so im sure theyll fit but before ordering them i wanted to make sure. here is a pic of mine with the cheapo mirrors. Notice my hinge bolt pattern. The way the better mirrors bolt up looks like the bolt pattern is switched...??

There are a total of 6 holes in each hinge in your second picture.
The door hinge is adjusted/tightened, then there are 3 more holes that the mirrors screw into.

Mhmm. So I'd need different hinges to make the better mirrors work I assume, without drilling/tapping

Oh please. Just suck it up and drill/tap the hinges.
They're already painted!

Easy enough, i was just hoping i could get a direct bolt in for yj hinges(you'd think they'd make some with everything else on the market). I'll have a big blue spot where the old mirror was tho, so ill have to repaint my doors

Those cheap plastic mirrors are the STOCK YJ full door mirror, the half door hinges were tapped for those larger "TJ" style mirrors. I drilled and tapped my full door hinges and put those mirrors on them. You will have holes in the doors though behind those stock mirrors.

Here you can see mine right after I did them....

I later welded the holes shut before I shot it with bedliner.
