MC and booster from a blazer....

So after a long time i finally got my YJ on the road....sorta...

So here is the reason for the post. my brakes SUCK!
thats what happens when it sets for almost 15 years. so i found both the power booster and the MC are bad in my Jeep, i have a booster and MC from my parts car (2002 Blazer)sittin in the basement. i measured the mounting studs and they are real close to matching. The rod that attaches to the brake peddle is the wrong length but i can fix that.

Is there anything that i need to think about to make this work??

Thanx for any input

There's a write-up somewhere about the use of a Ford/Mercury master cylinder and booster that supposed to fit under the hood and give you the braking power you need. A search of the site should help.

I installed a dual booster out of an 06 TJ. Here's how I did it...

I am running a Mercury master cylinder and a 95 YJ booster, disk brakes front and rear and 36 inch tires.
I can lock them up no problem.
This is my write up.

The 95 YJ had a dual diaphram setup like the TJ.
