Hey Boaty.....that is nice work. How 'bout a build thread or maybe even just a spec sheet/hardware/materials list..... What did you use for a brake....hardware......etc.

has anyone done a comparison between the max-bilt and tuffy? I need a new console for my 1978 Jeep Cj7, but I cannot find the radio compartment specs for the max-bilt console....

Also with regards to ventilation in the radio compartment do either of these consoles provide for slots so that heat can escape from the compartment?

just so you know the radio opening fist every major stereo on the market, and for the ventilation we have 4 holes that allow air movement inside the stereo compartment for air flow, search marinemike for a comparison, it also shows some install pics. Mention jeep forum to get a discount

Interior LED Light for any Tuffy products with space

I put one of these in my Tuffy YJ 6.5" console and I love it! I have no problem seeing inside my console at night. Easy install, double-sided foam tape, and it saved me from having to wire up LED's and figure out where to mount them. The construction is olid too. Kudos Tuffy on another great product .
