Manifold gasket

After replacing my old carb with a MC2150 it has been running 100% better. The only problem I'm still having is a rough idle. There isn't any stall but the idle is choppy. I was told to spray carb cleaner around the manifold and carb to find any leaks. When I sprayed near the manifold the idle changed a lot. I'm thinking it is the gasket I'm going to have to replace.

Sounds to me like a manifold leak.

You can try re-torquing the bolts first, sometimes they can back out. If that doesn't help, the gasket is likely bad.
