mandrel bent exhaust tailpipe

looking for a mendrel bent exhuast tailpipe. 2.5 inches. having a little trouble finding it online. any help is appreciated

I think he was hinting that you're not going to get any performance gain on these motors, especially the 2.5, by running mandrel bent exhaust.

You will always get a little better performance out of higher quality products, such as the difference between standard bending of the exhaust to mandrel bending of the exhaust. The gas will flow that much better and more effeceint. Some would argue it may not be worth the extra money to get the mandrel bent tubing because the added gain is not as promonate as say on a built ls3 motor. I personally am going to try and find a mandrel bent exhaust for my 2.5 when I get to that point of my upgrades.

if you are doing custom routing then you need mandrel. you might need to cut in the middle of a bend and the mandrel tubing will line up best with less gapes. you still need to massage it but its much better then the alternatives. its not a performance thing but a welding thing.

Used them just last year when I had to build an exhaust for my jeep. Worked great and even had a little extra. Available in all types of sizes and metals. goodluck!
