Maint. Req.

What is the maint. req. Light!
I comes and goes it not the service engine light it is the light under the right turn indicator light!
91 YJ all gauges are reading good and can't tell any change from when it's on or off but comes on alot and goes off after a min or so!
Any thoughts?

The maint req light is piece of history. It comes on every so many miles because they thought you had to change the O2 sensor and tune it up every 60,000 or so. Modern parts are a lot better than that. You can ignore it or most people just pull the bulb out of it.

or just find the "timer" and unplug that so the light goes out and dont bother to reinstall a different one.

IIRC the timer box (with the gears in it) was only used to 1989. Begining in 1990 the computer actually turned on the light and the only way to reset it is with the ChryCo scan tool.

Pull the bulb out and drive on.
