It adds 7 HP.

Supposedly.

That's about it.

haha. that's always a plus.
but what I want to know is about sound wise...
I have a cherry bomb glass pack right now and it's a little too raspy.
I want more of a rumbley sound if that makes sense haha

When I bought my 92 YJ it had a off-brand Flowmaster...sounded like crap. Had the exhaust redone with 2.25 to the muffler and 2.5 tailpipe with a Cherry Bomb Turbo II muffler. Still too loud, sounded like a jeep that just need a muffler.

Went to PepBoys bought the MagnaFlow muffler for $65. It is exactly what I wanted. Nice deep rumble at idle, and no glass-packy tone. Smooth rumble all through the RPM range. Get the muffler.

Part Number: 11225 2.25" offset/center I think?

I don't think I have enough posts to put pictures or videos on here yet. The place I looked at was on YouTube under "Wrangler Exhaust" you will be overwelmed at how many there are. MagnaFlow does have a video clip for the 4.0 TJ it sounds the same. I will see if I can post one there for you. The ones on YouTube will have some bad audio but you can weed through them.

I'm torn between magnaflow or fm super 44 HD.
I've never heard either on a yj.

I'm thinking about this as well and have been debating which to get. Thanks sled for the part number for the Magnaflow. A guy in our club has the Banks after cat system on his TJ with 4.0 and rev limiter which sounds killer when he gets on it and not too obnoxious when he's going down the hwy. However I just installed a Magnaflow on a JK this past weekend about mid way down the Jeep and chucked the giant OE muffler and that sounds good too. Hmmmmm............ I will go to You Tube to check them out, thanks for the search words.
