Made it into a magazine finally. check out the SEPT PETERSON'S 4 WHEEL & OFFROAD!
check it out! Page 42 of sept's issue... i think that's the page....
i didn't get a full page like kelly did, or a two page write up like mike did with his dodge, but i made it! if someone wanted to scan it high resolution and email it to me i'd be pretty appreciative of that as well  -Erik

'89 Wrangler, 4.0/AW4, 106" Wheelbase, SOA, custom XJ packs, 2" Body. Front High Pinion Dana 44 w/yukon super-joints, chromo inners and outers, and a Lincoln Locker. Rear Dana 60 w/Yukon 1.5" 35 Spline chomo shafts and detroit locker. 5.38 Yukon Gears. Hydro-Assist, 39.5x18" Boggers on 15x12 RockKrawler's w/ 2.75" of backspacing. Saweeeet! When I got in it took @ 2 months for the online part to catch up (unless you have a paid subscription and then you will have your pics in all of their celluliod splendor as replicated in a digital medium...

well i have almost 400 pictures from that weekend taken on my digital slr and my neighbor's 35mm slr so we have a ton anyway... but it's just cool getting recognition for the white daily driven turd i built in my yard on a college student's budget.....

 your pictures on page 92 pic.#4 looks like you were having a blast! quote from 4-wheel & off-road Proudly representing the 2.5 Low-Output sticker on his '89 Wrangler, Erik Francin put the four-banger to work all weekend long. Though we suspect it was not the fastest Jeep in the group, the 5.38 gears and full width axles did a great job keeping the 39.5 Boggers crawling everywhere Erik wanted to go.
