LS1 Swap Notes

I wrote up some notes on the swap I did last fall and posted them here:

http://cid-44ec52a376cbee6a.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Jeep%20Work/1990%20Jeep%20Wrangler%20Rebuild%20Write%20Up.pdf

I wanted to share with the group but am not sure of the best way/format. I also have some pictures of the process. Should I just start a thread with each piece a different post? Is this information even of interest? Happy to share, just unsure of the best way.

Thanks for any comments.

Thanks! I have a 90 right now my 4.2 runs great. I am looking for a LS1, LQ4 or new gen chevy to replace my 4.2 when it goes. I haven't decided if I will run my ax-15 to my dana 300 or mate up a chevy auto to the 300. Your write up will definitely save me time. So thanks again for your efforts. The engine looks dreamy under the yj hood.

Yes post a build thread, I'm looking to do this same swap and would like to see what you went through.
I am really interested in the wiring issues you had and how you got around them.

It drives great, no issues other than you have to watch out how hard you push it. Gets up to 70+ real quick and that is fast enough for me in a Jeep. Runs about 1400 rpm in 5th at 60mph. Have not worked out any mpg figures yet.
