Lots Of Questions.....
Well I have alot of questions so i figured i would ask all at once....
I was looking at a set of blue torch fab bumpers. does anyone know of any info on quality of these bumpers? I currently have 35's on the jeep and would like to get some gears. I know everyone is going to say 8.8 but will the d35 hold if it is built? most likely a 4.88 gear will be going in there with lock rite lockers front and rear... Another question i have is i am going to be moving my spare tire into the cab and get rid of my back seat. how hard is it to move the battery back there also? what all is involved also if i run dual batteries do i have to upgrade the alternator? does the dual battery kit have to be purchased? I got a quote on the gears and the guy is saying about 1800 with gears and front and rear lock rite lockers.... does that sound fair?

Don't know on the bumpers.
No on the Turdy-Five. Just a matter of running some heavy gauge wire and a way of locking down the batteries. 1800.00 if that includes the lockers, gear parts and labor, then yes. In my opinion

Blue torch makes good stuff.
As for the Dana 35, define what YOU mean by built. You can buy relocate kits for the battery at places like Summit racing that make moving the battery a breeze. Price on installing the gears and lockers is way high in my opinion.

Really, I did a quick figure on all the parts needed and here is what i came up with.
2 loc rite lockers 600.00 2 sets gears and install kits 600.00 2 carriers 150.00 That leaves 450.00 for labor on both axles. I thought that was pretty decent.

That IS a good deal on the labor assuming the guy knows what he is doing. I recently regeared my D30 to 4.56 and you will be hard pressed to just spend $450.00 on getting some decent tools you need just to do the job yourself not to mention what your own time is worth.

well i would go aussies first of all at $240 a pop. Better locker in my opinion too.
A gear and install kit wont run you more than $200 each and thats retail $150 on a pair of carriers. Looks closer to 700 for labor to me. Plus the guys probably getting a wholesale or discount price on the parts.
