Soon after you should swap the axels to handle the extra power. I have done this several times hardest part is the compter if you use a efi motor

Obviously he could answer better than I could.
But some of the main issues I remember.

The gas tank was held on by some junky straps, didnt look safe at all.
The fuel lines were sitting on the exhaust.
The automatic tranny shifter wasnt bolted down, and the flexplate inspection cover was missing.
The power steering had a decent leak
The transfer case was "a bastard unit", I think he said it was a NP203 or 207, apparently it was one that came in the 87 wranglers and is very undesirable.
The heater box/ac box was completely gone
The right rear tire was bald while the rest were like brand new ... looks like the jeep seen alot of nice smokey burnouts.
It has some mirrors that were basically useless, not even sure why they are there.
The rear view is gone
No speedo or tach
The turn signal lever was broken and replaced with a piece that looked obviously out of place.

Overall the body and frame seemed pretty nice, not alot of rust or dents. It just looked as if the swap was cobbled together and would be a bit more of a project then I was looking for.
