Looking for some half door hardware

I just picked up a pair of YJ half doors for my CJ today. The passenger door is missing the plastic retaining clip that holds the rod in place between the door latch and the handle on the inside of the door. This renders the outer door handle useless and it just flops around. I already checked Quadratec and I could not turn one up. I have one salvage yard nearby with jeep's that I can check but I doubt that will turn up much. I doubt that any Jeep dealership will have the parts either.
Can anyone suggest where I might be able to locate this little retaining clip?

Dealers can usually get old jeep hardware still. I know the fuel line retainer clips are still available... I'd check for the door clips too.

If that fails, please post a pic of where you're talking about. Sometimes a "e-clip" will work if you grind a little groove in the rod.

advance auto usually has stuff like that in the 'help' section. If your store has someone that knows what theyre doing they can look it up in a dormain catalog.

I can check with a dealer but I was assuming they would not carry parts for late model jeep wranglers.

Anyway photos of the rod that attached to the handle and the broken clip on the backside of the handle.

Sorry for the Gigantic pix.
