Looking For A New Front Bumper For My 95

So I am bored with the look of my Jeep (it is nearly stock after all) so I am thinking of throwing a new front bumper on but am in need of some advice. I want to get something decent that will protect my front end, I was looking at this one but could not find any reviews on it, anyone have any experience?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Aries...Z1218759860258

Thanks

get the warn front rock bumper, you can get a grille guard for it that bolts on. looks great

here's mine without the grille guard.

comes with pre-drilled holes for lights.

I wonder how heavy the wall of the tubing is. They don't say. I would ask some questions first. The price seems too low......
Check out Steve's Jeep Fab. I have had good experience with them.

Yeah I am wondering that as well, I am just not looking to spend over $350 or so and it appears I could pick up a warn bumper for 165. I am just stuck on having that stinger on the front. I love the aggressive look it adds.

Thanks

Why not purchase from a fellow member and mod here. http://stores.ebay.com/Ground-Pounder-Fab

SUPERB tried and true products. PM BESRK for more info.

BESRK, a fellow JF member has some impressive fabrication skills and makes a really nice front bumper, as well as rear with tire swing and all. I think the front bumper is about $160 or so, he sells on ebay.
Look up his username and follow the link in his .sig to Ground Pounder Fab. You will not be disappointed in what you see. Plus you'll be supporting a fellow JF member.
If I decide to buy a bumper and not fab my own, he's definately getting my money.

heh
I guess I should have scrolled through all the reply posts before making one of my own - we think alike.

Plus, there is just something cool about having a custom fabbed product on your rig - makes it more original.

I built mine for about $80 (maybe a little less), I used the front clevis mounts from BESRK. Like others have said look at his stuff if you can't build your own.

yes they are very well made, and they make a grille guard for it. not sure if other are compatible. if his products are as good as everyone says, i would support the fellow jeeper and get his bumper. will be quite a bit cheaper than the Warn i bet.

that first picture looks like a Smittybilt clone... the orginals are awesome bumpers, but I'd find out what wall thickness the tubing is before buying...

just my .02

I like the look of the bumper timatoe has, I like the shorter one with the clevis hoops myself.

Although that first bumper (the one on ebay) is a really nice bumper you mentionned that your jeep is almost stock and that is a rather agressive bumper might kinda look goofy on a stock jeep.

I've been really satisfied with the Smittybilt SRC...

comes with tabs for lights, solid tow points and protects the front fenders very well.

(I agree that this bumper might look goofy on a stock YJ)

I saw a post on here where the guy used a stainless steel grab bar from Lowes or HomeDepot for his grille guard/light hoop. I am guessing it was the HD type that is for handicap access. Looked pretty good painted and mounted on his bumper. Inexpensive if you don't have fab skills.
