Looking at a 94 4.0L things to look for and lift questions?

Hey guys first post in the YJ forum!

Anyways I'm a XJ guy and found a goo ddeal on a DD 94 YJ. 4.o auto soft top that stuff. Its stock and I want to make 3/4" shackles and get a 1" BL. Also, considering a 2.5" leaf kit. What are good kits and things to watch for when buying them?

I've been skimming then x.x" lift with xx" tires thread for a while and it seems like the 4.5" kits fit 33s fine and I want to run 32s and stock gears. I'm going to make a front winch bumper and maybe a rear. Sliders definately also.

Can I get away with 4" and jus a 1" transfer case drop?

Thanks for the input definately new to YJs not to Jeeps though thats why I'm sticking with them.

Most common lifts recommended are BDS, Rubicon Express, and Old Man Emu. Most will agree all give fair ride. Most will tell you to stay away for Pro Comp, Rough County for sure. In other words cheap= poor ride and flex. I don't know about how much drop is needed for 4" lifts. I and lot of others have cut out wheel wells and put on tj flares, this will open of the wheels wells quite of bit, but you much cut your jeep to really help. I know the search can give you trouble to find what you are looking for, you might look at a couple pages of old threads and see what people are stay about their junk, good and bad. Hope this helps
