Ok...on the topic of welded spider gears...I have a 220 MIG welder. Has anyone used a MIG to make a "Lincoln" locker (although mine would end up being a Miller locker...). Or is stick the way to go?

I prefer INCONEL stick, but buddy of mine has a 14 bolt hat he did with a 220 mig and it is holdng up fine. He is also got 304, T-18a, 300 TC, and 5.13 gears on 39.5 X 18 boggers.
