So after a hard ride this weekend my jeep has some pretty good body damage. This morning I decided to strip it and start getting ready to repaint. So far I have removed allmost every thing including the cage. I have also cut my front fenders to make tubes and cut the rear since I will no longer be runnig flares.I have 2 1/2 weeks to complete this project before the Tellico ride I am going on for 3 days. My biggest deal now is choosing a color. It is red now but I am tired of that. I was thinking about desert tan or something like that but can't seem to find anything like it to look at on a jeep. Does anyone have a picture of one they could post? It would help me alot. Or if you have something different I would like to see that as well. No red, yellow, black or white though. Thanks.
Mine (both burgandy and geen) and my yellow yj are in my sig, click for pics.
As far as colors, light colors accent the boxy lines of the Jeep, darker colors mask them. If you like the lines and want them to stand out, go lighter.
Here's my Jeep with the factory paintjob. I've only seen 2 other ones in my area with this color. I like it cause it's easy to keep clean, has a small metal flake to it and it shines up pretty decently too when I feel so inclined.
Hey Joe that is the closest I have seen yet. Thanks.  Anybody else?
