listing top halves, doors

my driver side door top (1/2 doors soft top) doesn't sit tight at the belt line, and sits cockeyed to the window and b pillar, the passenger door fits right. is there a way to ajust the fit of the soft top panel, or any mods you have done. I thought about threading the pins and putting a nut on each to raise the pin out of the seat after the window belt line is installed. the pin recepticles are still tight, is there an adjustment at the bottom of the insert? I do pull the windows off often.

Are any of the "pins" that go into the top of the half door bent?

don't appear to be, they slide right in without hassle, and apply just alittle pressure to the window seal on the door channels. it I lift up the rear most pin, the door looks square in the frame and the belt draws tight., so the problem is found, the solution is in question????
