My 92 Sahara came from the factory with a limited slip. I used to live in Vista.

Mine also had a factory LSD, it was a base model with the I-6. Of course it could've been ordered that way.

the easiest and truest way to tell if you have a trac-lok limited slip (the one from the factory) is to open up the rear differential.
If the corner on the carrier opposite of the ring gear are curved, then you have a open carrier,
if they are squarish, then you have a limited slip.

Whether it works or not is a whole nother thing

Mine is a limited slip. I read somewhere that there was a little metal tag with some numbers on it that means you have a LSD. Mine has one.

It won't hurt it if you don't have LSD, I'd just go ahead and put it in there.
