Lift question

I am looking at a few lifts, not sure how high i want to go yet, my question is when is it necessary for driveshaft, sye, etc. ? 2.5"? 4"? I have been looking through past threads and cant seem to find the answer.

4" is commonly the limit before you must do SYE, CV Drive shaft, etc. I have a 4" RC and I love it. No vibes with the Transfer Case Drop. All jeeps are different though and can't guarantee you will be vibe free. But the consensus agrees 4" is a safe lift before SYE, etc 99% if the time

i have 4inch lift springs and about 1 inch shackles and transfercase, once and a while i get a vibration when i really gun it but usaully nothing. i have stock drive shafts no SYE and im having no problems. my driveshaft is slid out slightly but not to bad. for some reason i have a very good angle with mine not like most others with the same amount of lift. but my truck is wierd i have a good amount of lift but it doesnt look like i do its very strange. if i pull next to trucks with the same amount of lift im the same amount or higher but just looking at a picture of my truck it looks so low. maybe its my huge fender flares but who knows
