The lift is in (pics)..... Now to remove body lift
So after a long day wrenching, the lift is in. It's a 4" RE Std. Tires are 32x11.5 BFG AT.
The install went pretty smoothly with the only real headache being the brakeline fittings and the main eye bolts.
Now for the outstanding issues:
1- Rear shackles are nfg. (I received 2 sets of front greasables, I had no choice but to use both for now)
2- I have slight vibes, so I'll be ordering an xj front shaft and a PORC sye.
3- I have to get rid of the @#!$%&* 3" Bodylift !!!!
Now to the pics:
Before: (3" body stock springs, 32x11.5.)
After the lift:
Some Random shots :
(yes I know I have a slight ATF leak)
Hope you enjoy the pics, stay tuned for the body lift removal thread !

I hope the shackle angles improve. In the pics it looks like they will give a harsh ride.
Nice looking Jeep.

I had those same shackle angles, actualy maybe worse...
I removed one leaf from each leaf pack, and it brought my lift down a tiny bit, but it gave me alot more flex. Rides alot better too, and shackle angles are just about perfect.

What would a perfect angle be ? just outside vertical ?

The sawzall is your friend! (plus a few )
Removal quickly turns to demo. on these stock YJ suspensions. Gotta love it or you'll go insane!
Once you pull that body lift it will be awesome. Are you sticking with the 32's?

Yep, I bought em new and they only have about 4,000 km on em. Plus with my 3:73 ? gears, I'm reluctant to go any bigger.

i hope you repaired, and inspected thoroughly your mounts. the one in this pic has a crack that needs attention. generally if it is cracked on the outside, it is bigger on the inside.
you surely don't want that to break free.

ATF Leak
You might want to fix the atf leak asap, atf on the leaf springs is not a good thing, it creates a slip-stick situation between the leaves. This I know from personal experience.
