Mine has about 100k and still runs strong, except for the lifter tick, but that is common.

over 183,XXX and still great, need to fix the cracked exauhst manifold but other than that its great.

175,000 + on mine and runs like a champ. These motors run forever if you take care of them.

If taken care of and well maintained, it's easily possible to get 200k out of one. If you run them hard, use cheap oil/don't change it often enough, that can be dramatically lower.

My new motor has 3K, installed by the previous owner, but the odometer shows 185K. I'd have to say that the first one lasted 182K!

The 2.5 in my 94 had 217,000 km on it , before the last rebuild. It was owned by an idiot and way beyond needing a rebuild , I'm surprised it didn't explode.

These are a great little engine though , no regrets about owning one.

my last 91 had 240,000 on it when it was sold.To the best of my mknowledge it is still going strong!

My 89 has 148K miles on it now. Apart from normaly replaced parts, very few problems and it runs great. Even better now that I had the fuel pump replaced.

I have a friend who had about 385k miles and still ran fine before he got rid of it. he just did normal oil changes and very little repairs.

178k still runs great beats my dads toyota with half the miles and like half the power
