I can post pictures if you want, but I have to go mow the lawn now before it rains again.
That is what i did, except Iam a big guy and what i did is grab the leather wrap steering wheel from a z24 cavalier and put that in. No need to spend alot of money on after market steering wheels...

They are neither. They are from a Dodge Stratos. I dont recomend them. They are nice but were a pain in the *** to fit.

Went to the picknpull and found some seats out of an Olds Achieve. I believe it was a 96 or 97. They were the same set up as the Cavaliars and bolt directly in!!!

So now I got rid of my trashy oem seats and best of all there are 8 less torx bolts in my Jeep (ofcourse they were a pita to get out)!! I just reused the hex heads from the Olds...

Junkyard seats

Ford ranger seats are the way to go. You can put the 60/40 seats in and seat three across the front, plus have a folding arm rest/console. I had to remove the old brackets from the ranger seats and attach the jeep brackets, but they are awesome compared to the stock crap.

Either you don't have/use a back seat.. or you've come up with a way around the passenger entryway...

If it is the latter.. I'd like to see how you did it... granted.. I love my Rodeo seats.. and I just got them in but it never hurts to learn a little more..

on the cavalier seats did they fit the YJ sliders or did you use the cavalier sliders?
I am very interested in this swap.

I got the Olds Achieve seats last weekend and they were identical to the Cavalier seats. Mine bolted right into the Jeep sliders like they were meant to be there. I just tossed the car sliders. The sliders were an extra 5 bucks but it was easier to pull the seats out of the floor than it was to pull the seats off the sliders while they were in the car. Still out the door for $40.

There were definetly more Cav's in the junkyard but most of the ones I found had the seats trashed. I just started looking at all the small GM cars and found the Olds. Just get the measurements off your sliders, for the 4 torx bolts, and take a tape measure with you. Nothing like a Saturday afternoon at the junkyard. There were some scary people there crawling around, made me wish I brought a gun!!
