seats

I don't have a picture, but seats out of a 2001 wrecked chevy cavalier bolted directly to my seat frames, took about 20 minutes per seat, they look great, they have a lumbar, and they recline and fold.. great seat for a jeep....my total cost. $50.00.. 25 per seat. I love them.

Originally I was going to go with the Corbeau Baja SS suspension seat, for the price ($169 each) you get a lot of seat. Unfortunately from what I have seen you need about $100 in brackets to make them work properly for a YJ.

I saw these in the most recent Quadratec issue:

http://www.quadratec.com/products/24222_0XX_PG.htm

They cost a few bucks more per seat, but they are still cheaper since you do not need any brackets to mount them to the YJ brackets (at least according to the catalog I got). Not to mention you still get harness capability should you decide to add those later and they come in a variety of factory colors.

Chevy Cavalier seats

Direct bolt in, although I had to put washers under the rear bolts to make them sit in a more upright position.

Total cost: about $150.

Picked up a pair of Leather Isuzu Rodeo seats for $80.. nice and comfy... not a direct bolt up but there is plenty of plating ont he bottom of the seat to drill new holes and bolt them up..

2001 Montero seats (Click Sig) $7 bucks ea at local pick and pull.

3 of 4 holes bolted right up. One needed a bit of encouragement.

I love em, lots of side bolster, back support and they recline.

Unfort, I'm unable to adjust my steering wheel. (95 el cheapo model).
If you're having problems with the height of the steering wheel, simply install a little smaller wheel. I'm a smaller guy, but even I was having problems with the stock "bus driver" wheel. I put in a Grant GT signature series 13.5" wheel and it makes a world of difference not having the stock wheel a half inch from my balls.

I can post pictures if you want, but I have to go mow the lawn now before it rains again.

Now that's something I haven't thought about.
