Meanwhile, back at the original thread question... I tried the LED's in the grille and side markers and I was rewarded with various combinations of blinking LEDs and non-lit bulbs.
I have the correct flasher for my LED tail lights but cannot seem to get the grille and side marker lights to work. I tried all variations by flipping the bulbs around, etc. but no joy.

Any advice on why this is not working?

Any auto parts store will have the E12? Flasher relay. Just pop in your old one and tell them you need the electronic version of it. Someone will be able to figure it out.

I am running LED sidemarker bulbs. Taillights, Gauge, and Hvac cluster lights, and Parking lights in my YJ with no issues at all.

Cool. I see you had to drill new holes (or used self tapping screws). What will you use to cover the original holes since they're smaller than OEM?

True, I'm really just asking for asthetics. I like a nice finished look myself. After a few trail rides or snowy/salty roads you could end up with a couple exposed rusty holes in your fenders. The ones I installed have a gasket covering the holes to help prevent that.

what do you have? I see the picture, how did they turn out this is on my list of things to do, i live where it is salty but I didn't know the marker light screws held the flair on or went through the fender

Mine are pictured in post #21 above. They have a gasket material backing and come with long enough screws to attach through the flare to the fender. Also, the back portion of them is billet aluminum so they won't crack from the screws holding them on.

I put the factory screws back in , I plan on going with tube fenders in the future , these are a lot brighter than stock , I thought about cutting a strip of aluminum to put behind the light to give it a more finished look , but then again its a JEEP !
