Lean towards drivers side
not sure if this is the best place for this but,
I installed the 4" RC Kit about a month ago, and took my first big wheelin trip in it this past weekend. The jeep did great on the trail drove home just as well as it went to the trail that was 2 hours away. Got it home and it checked out fine. I was really impressed. Well, today I get out from driving across atlanta, and notice that my jeep is leaning to the drivers side by a good 1.5-2 inches. Its to the point that the amount of tire exposed past the flare is larger on the passenger side. Is this part of the whole "settling" thing? Because this doesn't seem like just a little settling.

Check the following:
Shackle bolt torque Shake the Jeep side to side, cycling the suspension some & see if it "settles" differently Check for blown/leaky/dented/frozen shock(s) Check shackle angles. Fronts should match each side & same for the rears should match each other Are any of the leafs flatter than their "sister" leafs |

Well after cleaning the underside of the jeep today, I checked what I could of the things you said:
Shackle bolt torque-don't have a torque wrench here Shake the Jeep side to side, cycling the suspension some & see if it "settles" differently- Did this, and it had no effect on the lean Check for blown/leaky/dented/frozen shock(s)- There was a small dent near the bottom of the front passenger shock on the outside and a little bigger one on the same shock where it is closest to the front axle (see picture below) ![]() Check shackle angles. Fronts should match each side & same for the rears should match each other- The front shackles differ in angles a little, see the pics ![]() Are any of the leafs flatter than their "sister" leafs- couldn't really tell ![]() I didn't have a tape measure out there with me, so I took some comparison shots: Front Drivers side: ![]() Rear Drivers side: ![]() Front Passenger: ![]() Rear Passenger: ![]() |

I have a little lean to, all of my fenders have 8" of clearance except the rear drivers only has 7". I try not to let it get to me, but yours looks worse. Do you have the new rough country lift or the old, that could be your answer.

I had the same thing happen to mine about 3 or 4 months after I put on my rc lift I ended up putting on new bds springs to fix it and its been level ever since. Probably not what you wanted to hear but I here the customer service at rc is better then it was 3 years ago when I got my lift from them

i think this is a common problem, every rc lift that i see in a jeep always seems to have that problem, they dont break in right.

Most jeeps "list" to one side or the other. Mine leans to the drivers side as well, but only by .25 inch at the most. It was that way before the lift, and is that way after the lift as well. Yours looks more extreme.
Was your's that way before you went wheeling ? If not it doesn't sound right for springs to break in at different rates. -jeff b.
