Leaking axle seal dana30

Hey all. Common problem, but I need some opinions on what to do next. I've had my 94 yj for almost 2 years and just recently the driver side axle seal started leaking. I've replaced a jeep axle seal before, so my friend and I decided to replace this one. The process went fairly smooth. Thought the seal was seated well, but it started leaking immediately. So..???.. Bad replacement job? Bad new seal? Bad axle? (I don't remember scoring on the axle, but i didn't look hard at it) not sure if we should just redo it, so I thought I'd ask you. Thanks

I don't steer my Jeep. It's more like I guide it.

More than likely the seal was damaged from putting in the axle shaft without proper care.

Do it again and if you have not done it already put a seal in the passenger side of the pumpkin and swap to TJ shafts.

Seal = NAPA #11800
