Leaf spring

About how long does it take to do a passenger right leaf spring and is there anything special I have to do?

front or back?

not too too long, about 4 hours if you've never done one before, 25 minutes for the second one you'll do.

get cut off wheels for your angle grinder, because those frame bolts do not com off. also, new bushings. the rest is simple.

Front passenger side. How much will new Ubolts run me?

About 5 bucks ea. depending on where you go and what you get.

Down the line a bit...engine swap, the list goes on.

you don't need to replace the Ubolts, but they do stretch a bit. i don't know the dimensions offhand, but the topic has been broached here before. search function is you friend to get the answer. I bought a rear ubolt and shim kit for the d35 that is made by rancho, but that does everything. a good auto parts store will have axle u bolts if you give them the dimensions, or maybe even just the application.
