Your jeep is fuel injected. There are people who take their carbureted Jeeps and convert them to fuel injected. There are many advantages to having a fuel injected Jeep. You are good with what you have. You should do some searches on JF on your type of Jeep, learn more about it, and see what other people with your make/ model are doing. I can't help with the engine related side because mine is carbureted. It's a different beast.

No, you have Throttle Body Injection, it looks like a carb sorta but not a carb. Stick with what you've got.

Oh awesome ok i was confused there Ive never seen an older vehicle with anything other than a carb on it, wow learning a lot thanks everyone, Ill do more looking into a throttle body injector and see how they work. Thank again for all your help! Going to put new shocks on it soon, thats next on the list
