direct fit.. hrmm... well.. if you want 4.10's i suppose you could just swap in axles from a 4cyl YJ out of a junkyard.. they come with 4.10's already and should be a direct bolt on.. however they may cost more than just paying for new rings.. and you'd have to get the alignment done also..
other than that.. everything else costs $$$$.. unless you find a junkyard that has a totaled jeep with all the parts there anyway

I'm not tryin to walk all over your post, but i couldn't h elp but notice your jeep setup is almost the exact same as mine, 91 yj 4.0l 3" body lift and 33" tires, does your jeep perform well with the body lift? and how does it ride on/off road? thanks and sorry <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Hey Mastaman65, no problem with the question. This is the setup that came with the Jeep when I bought it 2 years ago. Off road is very good, I was surprised. Lockers and a little more lift would help though, without it it's more of a challenge. On road 5th gear is useless, but I do not do alot of highway driving. My jeep does have other issues but not related to the lift. I also think it makes it easier to work on the extra clearance above the frame.
As far as my original post, my question is in response to another post I read. It said that a 90+ somthing Grand Cherekee came stock with headers that you could get cheap at a junkyard to upgade a wrangler. So my question is are there any non Wrangler model parts that are also a direct fit for my Wrangler. I met a guy in the woods once that told me he had Chevy S10 springs on his Jeep???? thanks ![]()
