History:
I got this YJ back in January. The PO did quite the bang up job "modding" it before me- 2" body lift, 2" lift shackles, bald 33s, a buggared up cage, a failed TJ filler mod, etc, etc, etc. I've spent the last 6 months saving her from his mistakes, and building the best DD/Weekend Warrior I can. So far so good! I'm able to take her wheeling 2-3 times a week right now and am learning a lot in the process. There's a lot more to accomplish, but I feel I'm off to a great start, with no small thanks to the great guys in the /f12 section!
Cheers

When I was 14 I thought jeeps looked cool so I got a job and started saving up for one. By the time I was 15 I bought my 88 yj with 128k completely stock. I knew absolutely nothing about cars, but I thought it looked good so I didnt care about the mechanical condition about 6 months later the clutch went out so I bought a repair manual and taught myself how to do it. After that all hell broke loose and I was constantly working on it... Long story short I have now replaced every part on my jeep besides the body and frame. I can now tell you how just about any part of a car/truck works because ive either replaced it or rebuilt it. Now that im 20 I have my jeep just about where I want it, until I go to full width axles and a custom cage which is coming this summer.

I do I'm still jealous! Haha but mine is stretched to 96 and I'm going to stretch the rear another 3 so I'll be right there with the XJs

Tough choices this month. All great rigs.

I went with Youngjeepr. Nice rig and a lot of custom work. Plus he's been working on it since he was 15. Great job
Thanks for the vote! I've always admired your rig.
